So everythings been going good....Pretty much just chilling, and working. My hours at work are so crazy, its really hard right now cuz I don't have a schedule yet. But once that gets all organized it will be good. :) Last night Kayley came over and we dressed up and danced and took pictures and stuff....I love our apartment!! :D It was so much fun!!! Will's birthday is Friday I'm going to take him out and stuff....I have to plan the whole day for him, which is kinda stressful. lol but thats my birthday present for him. :) Starr is also coming to visit on Friday, she will stay with MJ Friday night and then Saturday we will all hang out, prolly take a dance class or something. I have an audition on Saturday for a performance of Two Gentlemen of Lebowski. I really have no idea what that is, and havn't met anyone who does. lol I tried to research it but I couldn't really find anything. It's by Shakespeare. But the audition is just for dancers which is nice, cuz it's really hard to find only dance auditions, most of them you have to sing too. :\ I don't like singing at auditions. I don't know if I'm working tonight. but I am Thursday and Sunday night. :) Yayy!!

So....
My second day of work was pretty intense. A lot going on. I really still don't know what I'm doing, so I would run around and ask people if they needed anything, cuz I'm real good at remembering stuff like that. :) but early in the night around 10pm I went out with one of the owners to go "hand out fliers" but we just ended up meeting up with a couple old friends of his, hung out for an hour and brought them back to Tagine. lol It was a waste of time, but a nice break for me, I'm not complaining! :) I ended up staying there until 6am! UGH people don't like to leave. But I'm getting the hang of things, so today should be better at work. I went over to MJs but just ended up passing out, but it was good to see her. :) In the afternoon I came back home, and me and Will chilled all night and watched Smallville, looked up auditions, sang, and danced around. It was really fun.
now Today has NOT been a good day :\ but its ok. I woke up around 9am, and got all ready for my audition for a tap company, which was at 12, I wanted to give myself plenty of time, cuz I needed to go to Kinkos to make copies of my headshot and resume. BUT...its Sunday and all the Kinkos are CLOSED!! AAHHH I was running around for like 2 hours trying to find them. and its a disgusting cold rainy day, so that didn't help. Finally I just decided to go to the audition without them, I got there abour 15 min early, which ended up being ok. The audition was really fun, the guy running it was really cool, very chill. But halfway through the audition my tap decides to fall off! lol its hanging on by one screw and spinning around the bottom of my shoe...I tried to ignore it as much as I could, but finally I had to take it off. But anyways, the audition wasn't hard, I don't think I was really on my game tho, cuz of my rough morning, and my tap distracting me. I got cut. But its all good, I'm back home now, going to take a nap before work at 4:30. :)
Tomorrow I think I'm going to do laundry and take another dance class maybe! :)

Hello Everyone!! :D
So yesterday I was supposed to take a ballet class...but I ended up missing it because the trains took FOREVER! blah....so I ended up taking a contemporary jazz class. It was SUCH a good class. At first I was like oh no, because the teacher was barely 5 ft tall!! I HATE taking class from short ppl! lol but she danced like she was 10 ft tall!! it was amazing, her warm up made me feel really good and all the movement was huge!! it was really good. :) But....now I cant move!! lol blah I'm in so much pain!! :D so then after the class I met Will and Kayley in times sq at Sephora and we played with makeup for a long time! Then we went to Kayley's and watched project runway, then we came back to our apt and chilled and played with more makeup! lol
Today I'm just chilling cuz my body hurts! :( and then going to work at 6:30. Today will be interesting because it will be VERY busy, I'm kinda nervous. I don't know how to do anything! :\ oh well I guess I'll get it eventually. After work I'm going to spend the night at MJs. :D yayy!

First Day of Work

Today Will and I went job hunting in Midtown, we started around Columbus Circle...but nothing really stood out....I really want him to work at the Stardust Cafe place where they sing and serve food, so we'll see. He's probably going to work at Guess because he already worked there in Williamsburg.
Later MJ came over and saw the apartment!! :D that was really nice, she got back from Japan yesterday! So we hung out for a little bit and then I had to go to work. Work was really boring I guess they are normally really slow on Wednesdays, so I pretty much just stood around all night. But I work again on Friday, so it will be a lot busier, and I'll learn everything then. :D
Tomorrow I'm going to sleep in cuz I had to work pretty late, and then take a ballet class at Steps. I'm really excited!
I LOVE NYC!!! k, just saying. lol Everything is PERFECT! No one should ever worry about me! I'm the happiest person EVER! :D :D

First Couple Days

Hi everyone! I was told that this would be a good idea to keep everyone updated on whats going on in my life up here in NYC! :-D So here you go!!

I moved here on January 16th. My parents, my roommate William's parents, and our friend Kayley helped us move in. Everything went very smoothly and accurately. The apartment is Wonderful!! Everything is great! I love my room, and the neighborhood, and everything.
The apartment is in Washington Hights (upper upper Manhattan/Spanish Harlem).
The first few days were pretty much setting everything up, grocery shopping, and adjusting. :) Today I went to our Landlord's office and signed the lease and then opened a bank account with Bank of America. Tomorrow I'm going to go job hunting with Will, even though I already have a job. I start TOMORROW!! I'm going to be working at Tagine. It's a Moroccan restaurant that my best friend works at. I'm starting as a hostess tomorrow, but will eventually be waitressing and bartending.
I am sooo thankful, my parents paid for my first 20 dance classes here in NY. Which I am ecstatic about!! I really want to get back in shape and start preparing for my auditions. :) Which I have a few lined up. There's an audition for a Tap Company on Sunday, and SYTYCD auditions on Monday, so we'll see how they go.

That's pretty much whats going on. I'm so happy I'm here I love it!! The only thing thats getting me down right now is me and my boyfriend of almost three and a half years broke up when I left. It's so sad, and really hard, because it was on really good terms, and we're both still so much in love, I just don't really know how to feel about it. So we're taking some time not talking everyday, and when we do talk, we just talk about whats going on, and not how sad we are, it just makes it harder.

Alrighty!! well I guess I'll do another one of these sometime soon! :D
